Thanks Claus from BAAHOUSE, your design on our granny house (downsizing not downgrading) is amazing. Everything is just perfect. Your ideas are exactly what we wanted and your interpreted our ethos and needs perfectly. Thanks also to Kirby and Dan from Saunders Building for your craftsmanship on this project.

My family and I moved up to Cooroibah from Melbourne in November 2016.  We have a large property of 16+ acres with a large Queenslander for the family.  We decided that we should build a “Granny Flat” for me and started wandering around the internet.  We found Baahouse and we found the Lincoln. I was absolutely blown away with the photos on the Baahouse website. We contacted Claus, he came up here and away we went.

It has been such an exciting adventure. Claus led the way. We had a superb builder, Kel Pinkstone,  and my daughter’s husband, Tom, project managed the build.

There were a few difficulties, non associated with the Architect or the Builder, and they were resolved.

I moved in on 6th December, 2017 and life has been magical ever since.  The design works so well. It is perfect for this sub-tropical climate and has fared very well in the severe weather conditions we have had this summer.

I live out on the property and share the land with kangaroos, the odd snake, eastern water dragons and bearded water dragons to name a few. Not forgetting the amazing birds - yellow-tail black cockatoos, etc.

It is a perfect existence. I have nothing but praise for Claus and Baahouse and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering building a small house.

I should add that this is the first time I have built and don’t hesitate in saying I could do it again.
